SAM MORGAN
Professional actor who was trained at the renowned Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts (BA in Acting).
Been Improvising for over 20 years, trained at IO Chicago, Bristol, Sprout Ideas, Showstoppers, Instant Wit, Josephine Larsen, Hoopla, and many many more.
Sam has been teaching Acting, Improvisation, Musical Improvisation for Over 10 years -
Founder Member of the Short Form Improvisation Group "Improperly"
Credits include The Comic Strip Presents “The Hunt For Tony Blair” (2011) and "Red Top"(2016), BBC Radio plays, numerous TV commercials (including ads for “Flybe” and “Visit Devon”), Recent Stage Credits Pinters "Birthday Party, and Home I'm Darling and series of award-winning short films and extensive experience in the world of theatre.
CATHY TOWERS
Cathy Towers has worked with connection, relationship and sub-personalities for 40 years as a psychotherapist, and latterly as a speaker, presenter of The Speaking Out show on Phonic FM, and as an improviser.
A teacher for ever, Cathy has worked at London University, Waltham Forest Adult Education, Toynbee Hall Universities Settlement, Creative Culture South West and more.
Cathy started improv training with Josephine Larsen and Sam Morgan, following up with The Nursery Theatre, Showstoppers, Lisa Lynn, Bristol Improv Theatre and more, as well as being a regular attendee and teacher at British Improv Project. and a popular presenter at the Applied Improv Network Conferences.
Running workshops on public speaking and hosting various special events are part of her work.
MARK PHOENIX
Actor/ Improviser/ tutor. Acting for nearly 40yrs. In movies such as V for Vendetta, The Bank Job. Television such as Upstart Crow, The Windsors, EastEnders. Also Lots of theatre. Improvising for nearly 40 yrs. Developed own form of dramatic improvisation using Meisner technique, leading to plays on stage and TV online. Teaching for 30+ years IRL and online ( globally) . Both theatre and Improvisation techniques.
PETER FARRIE
Peter Farrie is a songwriter and performer based in Exeter with an MA in Songwriting from ICMP London. He writes quirky, funny and sometimes heartfelt songs and has recently headlined at Taking the Mic at Exeter Phoenix and Word Stir! in Totnes.

Chris Read
Chris Bio Chris founded Dogface Improv in 2015 and leads their comprehensive programme of courses, classes, workshops and jams. With 15 years of improvising and 10 years of coaching experience, he creates supportive environments for improvisers at all levels.
Chris has trained with Second City, UCB, IO, AndAlso, The Maydays, The Nursery and The Free Association.
He's performed in hundreds of shows across the UK, Europe, and the USA, including multiple Edinburgh Fringe appearances with his improv duo Bendy House. He's passionate about improv for wellbeing and good mental health, as well as for performance, bringing both perspectives to his teaching and coaching approach.
